Apple have extended their iOS HTTPS/ATS implementation deadline from January 2017 to a new undetermined date.

This means that for the moment you don’t need anything. However, it is clear that the ‘writing is on the wall’ regarding this security stance by Apple, so please start to think about including a move to HTTPS and ATS into your longer term plans.
