Is there any way to use OCR with LongRange?
One of our prospect would like to use OCR with LongRange.

Is this for LANSA or RPG edition?

There is a way to do this online via LANSA Integrator - a module can be created to support OCR.
Integrator is included with both LANSA & AXES, but they must be licensed.

Can you also tell me more about the requirements.

What sort of documents they are going to scan? E.g. is is an invoice?
What are they going to do with the data once it's translated to text - are they going to fill a LongRange form with the information?
If you can tell me more about the flow (of the process), e.g.
-The user takes a picture of the invoice
-The invoice gets translated into texts
- The texts are placed in a LongRange form, and the user can edit/verify the accuracy.

Note that any solution we offer would require access to the Internet, so offline app wouldn't work.
