A new LongRange version is imminent (RV12).
‘What’s New’ is attached.
Summary:
- Human signature capture now a native feature - only needs RPG or RDMLX skills.
- Captured images may be annotated (eg; drawing circles around damage to an asset, annotating diagrams or hardcopy form images).
- Notification of schema changes
- New emphasis on prototyping including annotations.
- New look for shipped RPG/DDS/COBOL source code including explanatory diagrams.
- Native message boxes.
- A new “EZI” abstraction and code simplification layer (LongRange for RPG only)
- New image properties to simplify the handling of landscape and portrait mode photos.
- New properties to support programmatic focus control.
- Right Swiping to display the Menu removed from iOS
- Search Area commands - the value, maximum length, data type and focus may now be defined.
