Hi,
Our customer sometimes encounters the following error: "Connection to
http://192.168.1.3:8080 refused"
What can be the possible cause of this error? And how can we work around this?
I appreciate your kind advice.
Best Regards,
Megumi Sawada

Hi Megumi,
Is this a Windows server or IBM I?
When you say they sometimes experienced this error, do you mean this happens intermittently, if so how often do they get this (e.g. once or twice every 5 minutes)?

Hi Tony,
It's on IBM i, with Android phone.
This error randomly occurs, but the customer has no idea about the timing nor conditions.
Is there any clue?
Best Regards,

Could it be this?
http://longrange.lansa.com.au/viewtopic ... 414&p=1267
That would only happen when you happen to get assigned the virtual device name associated with the damaged queue.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your info.
Our customer uses LongRange for LANSA(RDMLX),so this would not be the case...
It seems to be an Android error, not LongRange error.
Can LongRange cause(invoke) Android error?
If so, I would like to know the condition which can cause this kind of Android error.

Hi Megumi,
The best course of action would be to report this as a support issue.
LANSA Support has more experience dealing with these sort of connection issues and you will more likely get a satisfactory resolution.
