RPG - Detect Space on the phone

Is there currently a way to determine the amount of free space on a phone? We are starting development on a offline app in which the user could select a fair amount of data to download. It may really be a nonissue but was just curious. Also, is there any limits on the space that an app can use to hold data?

Sorry, there is no such a way to determine free space currently.

The OS doesn't limit a single application to use free space of storage, so the app can use as much as free space the device available to hold data.
