Is there any way of detecting swipe events ? or is it in the pipeline ?

well, in the shipped example for pagination you have a link saying 'touch for more entries' but as far as i can see in other apps ... you can swipe up & down to load more (search) entries or move back to previous entries and data loaded dynamically as per user action

I have also been asked about the swipe event a couple times. Users have asked why they cannot use the swipe to delete data like they do on other iPhone apps like e-mail, SMS message, etc...
