Is it possible to retrieve GPS information every 30 mins(say)?
The customer would like to retrive GPS information every 30 mins and write these information into database. It will allow their manager to know the current location of the users and their route. They would like to do this with LongRange.
If they used LANSA form,then I can think of using timer to trigger the retrieving process every 30 mins to achieve their requirement. However, LongRange is request - response based solution and therefore I don't think it is possible to retrieve GPS information every 30 mins without some operation on smart device every time.
If you have any good idea to achieve this requirement,could you please please let me know? It would be very helpful for us!
